As an experienced trainer, facilitator and consultant, I’m able to devise bespoke services to suit your needs. I have worked as a consultant and trainer for a number of agencies including:

I’ve been a facilitator of writing for thirty years and genuinely don’t think anyone has run more workshops than me (though I’m happy to be challenged on this!)
I love to create spaces where people feel safe to express themselves and delight in seeing writers find their voices and grow in confidence.
I can tailor writing workshops to any group and have worked with a wide-range of people including:
children and young people, those who are experiencing bereavement and terminal illness, survivors of domestic abuse, parents and carers, homeless people and people in recovery.

Can I help you to develop a new project?
I’m a natural entrepreneur and have been responsible for creating a wide-range of projects including the Sheffield Young Writers Project, my own brand of children’s Writing Clubs and The Writers Workshop.
I enjoy creating anthologies of writing and recently ran workshops for clients of Mums In Need and edited the Write to be Heard anothology of writing which acts as a fundraising tool for the charity.
I’m currently curating booklets of writing with writers at Weston Park Cancer Charity and at St Luke’s Hospice.
